I decided to sell her because I need emergency cash. It has 4 sets of HIDs, skunk2 accessories, Leather, Navigation HandsFreeLink, much much more. When I reached 40k, I have done a 105 Point Safety Inspection and all service is done with records, replaced the Front & rear Brake Pads and resurfaced the Rotors. I have a Takeda intake with which I'm able to get 8-16 more mpg and 13.5 more HP. I have nice rims which I paid $2500. 00 with receipt comes with warranty, and I paid $1200 for an amp and kicker system from best buy but got stolen but the wiring still there. They also installed Four Brand New Tires with 95% left, replaced both the Cabin and Air Filters, and lastly, every 4k I give her a fresh Engine Oil and transmission Oil and Filter change. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always.Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it.We have bought 'Total Loss" cars from Insurance companies with door dings, extremely minor fender bender, theft recovered vehicles with absolutely no damage.In brief Total Loss does not always mean that the car was in a bad wreck or had extensive damage.
