This fuel conscious hatchback features power tilt front seats, power windows, power locks with key fob, cruise control, split folding rear back seat, AM/FM/CD stereo with auxiliary jack, plus more. The tires all around have at least 75% tread remaining, and are in good shape. The factory warranty just expired, but we were able to take it to a VW dealership to have it serviced and checked out. The drivetrain warranty is good for another two years (or when it reaches 60,000 miles). Nevertheless, it seems to have been well taken care of by the previous owner and shines all around while performing as good as it looks. We typically deal in Harleys, and have some experience with vehicles that are issued a salvage title because of flood or water damage. Quite a few of these end up having no issues. When we found this one being sold with a salvage title due to flood, we had the opportunity to check it out. There were no strange odors, interior stains, or rust that would indicate it had been under water. If we had to guess, it was just out in a very heavy rain storm. Nevertheless, it was issued a salvage title but is fully eligible for a rebuilt title. We have driven it about 300 miles without any issues mechanically or electronically, and are convinced of its reliability for the new owner. It has been through our service and we are pleased with the way it drives, shifts, stops, and sounds. It will also come with a new state safety inspection.
