Ready to roll...Hop in and start driving and having fun right away at a very affordable price...This is the perfect car for a father son project, or someone who's always wanted a Ghia, but didn't want to spend the big bucks on a fully restored one. This is a very solid, mostly rust free Ghia, that runs and drives like a champ. The lucky new owner, can start driving and enjoying it right away just the way it is. At some point, restoring it to their individual taste and style, knowing what they're working with from the very beginning. The person I purchased this Ghia from had owned it for the last 14 years. During that time he slowly worked on the mechanics of the car and collected tons of extra parts to use as he went along. It was always garage kept and well maintained. Here's a partial list of the things he did, in his words: Original fuel tank etched and lined New fuel filler hose New polyurethane steering bushing KYB shocks Original Hella headlight rings Grant 14' steering wheel Empi T-Handle shifter New pedal cluster with roller pedal accelerator New facet solid state electronic fuel pump New urethane transaxle mounts front and rear All parts have basically zero miles on them... Since I've owned the car, I did a major tune-up on the 1600 Dual Port engine including Plugs, Points, Condenser. Along with adjusting the valves and changing the oil...I also adjusted the clutch cable and brakes with the idea of making it a road worthy, drivable car.
