Up for auction is my 1969 oldsmobile 442 with numbers matching engine. It has been off the road since the mid to late 70's. Has license plate from 1975. The title signed over to me was from 1972 and I have a copy that will be given to the winning bidder. Car was stored outside under a few trees so it is rusted but has always been a North Carolina car since new so was not on the salty North Eastern roads. Has numbers matching "G" 400 big block with W and Z manifolds with "C" heads. Most parts are there to put engine back together except the distributor. Crankshaft is not in the pictures but is included and in great condition. Transmission is OG 69 but cannot read the last digits stamped on the plate so not sure if it is the original turbo 400 trans. Has rust on most panels but trunk floor and boxed frame are nice. Needs floors, quarters, lower front fender patches, etc.. the usual stuff. I have a nice hood that goes with the car. Has the original spiral shocks on all 4 corners. I have started buying many parts like new door panels, new seat covers, rear convertible seat set, nice steering wheel, black headrests and nice original bumpers that I will be including in this sale. I will also include a pair of NOS GM fenders that I have been saving for a number of years worth over $1,500.00. I have not seen a 442 with a 3 row radiator but it all looks so original so maybe someone out there knows if they ever made them this way without AC? I have a 4 row radiator top plate that is included but no 4 row radiator. I have the protecto plate, original warranty card, owners manual and plastic sleeve in good condition. 12 bolt non posi rear. Sway bar is not there but you can see where it had been mounted at one time. Has boxed lower control arms. Has power drum brakes all 4 corners. A nice 69 olds cutlass convertible parts car is included but has no title. It has a nice crack free dash, orig power top motor, lines, dash switch, am radio, nice windshield trim, nice top rack/frame, nice boxed frame, drum brakes, 10 bolt non posi rear, nice intermediate wiring harness to power top motor and rear armrest courtesy lights for convertibles only. Will not release either car or title until paid in full with cash or until a certified bank check clears my bank. Cars are located in Knightdale NC 27545 and can be seen by appointment only in storage garage. Have 48 hrs to pay 500.00 deposit to pay pal or cash in person at auctions end then 7 days after auction to be paid in full.
