Up for bid is a 1962 Giulietta Spider race car. This is a 101 Series car with serial number #AR 370575. This car was previously run in the South East in G production, Solo 1 events and hillclimbs. I have a SCCA Solo 1 logbook for the car with an ID number of SE-023. I have included pictures of how it looked in the 80’s, in its light blue/aqua colors. It is now white with a red stripe. This car has had a recent rollcage professionally installed that meets current SCCA production road racing regulations. This roll cage was installed at a cost of over $2500. It has Panhard suspension on the rear. Front suspension points lowered, however original suspension points also remain. The fender wheel openings have been modified to accept wider 6” wheels, however the wheel openings are all metal (no fiberglass). As these cars are much more valuable in their original street form, you may want to remove all the modifications and rollbar and restore this to its original condition. I do have some parts available such as soft top frame, stock dash, unmodified rear axle, engines & transmissions and other mechanical parts that are not included in this auction that are available to the winning bidder. This Giulietta Spider would also be a great car to go vintage racing in or for making a super quick street car with a more modern 1600, 1750 or 2000 Alfa engine. There is no engine & transmission in this car or being sold in this auction. The other miscellaneous loose parts sitting in the interior of the car are not included in this sale. It is your responsibility to pick up the car or to arrange for transportation. I can help with loading it on a trailer or flatbed truck.
