1997 BMW M3 - Dakar Yellow - 4 Door/Stick - only 4900 sold in the US!6 Cilinder, 3.2 L engine. Average 21 miles a gallon.Transmission 5-speed Manual Horse Power 240 hp @ 6000 rpm197,400 wonderful miles. I am the second owner.Car and driver called it best handling production car of 1997!What a joy to drive. Strong engine! Sports car, and family car! Bilstein shocks. Never been on the track.Front hood clear coat has come off and bumpers some clear coat is coming off! Minor dents in front hood and door.Needs new tires and rear wheel bushings need to be replaced. (easy, inexpensive repair!) Some back lit readout bulbs out on dashboard.Tear in driver seat, see picture. Has not gotten larger in the 7 years I owned the car.Just replaced headliner.
