It started life as a 1986 Chevy K30, then the Army had it way with it and it became the M1008. It was from Texas and has not seen salt but once; Body is rock solid but underside has surface rust and needs primer/undercoating where sand wore away paint; one small rust spot on center of hood. Front fenders have been bent back (+/- 2-3" at corner tip) to accept OVERSIZED tires, still SOLID but will need straightening and paint. Frame is almost new quality, professionally installed 6" lift kit. Military 24 volt Start/12 volt running - two alternators, two batteries. Previous owner had it off-road once, I have never had pleasure, just had it setting in storage barn (won't fit in garage with tires!) Transmission: THM400, 3-speed automatic, Transfer Case: NP-208 (unsynchronized), Front Axle: Dana 60 open, Rear Axle: 10.5" Corporate 14 Bolt Differential, with a Detroit Locker, Rancho RS9000 adjustable Shocks, (5) 90% Tread 37" Goodyear MTR Humvee (Military Grade) tires & Custom Trail Worthy Fab 16.5" - 8 Bolt Humvee beadlock wheels.
