Vehicle Detail
Car runs and drives awesome. Extremely quick for a 1.9L! Clutch is tight, as well as the linkage in the shifter.Replaced and painted the front bumper cover.Purchased and replaced hatchback support bars.Purchased and replaced the gas tank cap.Purchased and replaced along with painted the passenger front fender.Purchased and replaced the spark plugs with Bosch Platinum Plus 4.Purchased the required oil and filter -- I have not had the opportunity to change. The brakes are solid and still have about 50% meat on the pads. The vehicle is having problems passing the state of Indiana emission test. On the 1st test, it was because of the O2 Sensor in Bank 1, Sensor 2. Replaced both O2 Sensors (Bank 1, Sensor 1 and Bank 1, Sensor 2). Failed 2nd test, because the Emission System could not detect the Evap, Oxygen, Heat, etc. sensors, because the computer was reset using an OBD II Scan tool before leaving the garage after being repaired. I was advised by the Emission Technician to drive it for the next 3-5 days. I drove it and drove it -- failed 3rd test for the same reason(s) as the 2nd test, however, an OBD II Scan Tool had not been used. The interior is not impressive. The driver side door is missing the door panel. There is no radio. The glove box has been removed from the dash.No air conditioning. Previous owner had ran over a parking stop and damaged the front bumper cover (that is why it was replaced), passenger front fender and pushed the A/C Cooler Condenser inwards to the motor. I removed the A/C Cooler Condenser.Exterior has some rust spots. The hood has two dings in it, however, I have purchased, but not replaced the hood. The new hood will be included with the vehicle. The vehicle was purchased from a Seller in Pennsylvania, so I could convert it and race it locally, however, my local track is not allowing RWD cars to participate this year, therefore, I decided to use it to commute back and forth to work, but it is not passing emissions. Individuals residing outside of Lake and Porter Counties (Indiana), the vehicle is not required to be emission tested, therefore, you will be able to title and plate the vehicle with no issues. Other outlying areas in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin or elsewhere, please research your areas applicable laws about emissions. Winning Buyer will have 7 days after payment to make arrangements for delivery. As is and no implied warranty on vehicle.
