Vehicle Detail
Running and Driving Project car, tagged and insured. it's an 81 Z28 with t tops. red interior in pretty good shape (I have almost everything to change to dark blue/black interior in garage) white paint looks awesome in pictures but is weak, If I keep it will repaint it. S/S Cragar rims with raised white letter tires in excellent shape with excellent tread. 2.42 rear end (posi) LS Swap '02 5.3 from a Yukon (79,000 miles rollover, engine runs great). has the LS1 fuel injected intake and dress. aftermarket headers and true dual exhaust. can start up, have only driven a little because it seriously needs to be tuned (anytime you do changes to an LS1 it needs tuning) TCI Streetfighter 350 turbo transmission with a 2600 stall. B&M megashifter (needs serious adjustment) needs an alignment. brakes work okay but nothing compared to my new car! I have 3,73 gears and brand new install kit in boxes to include new ring gear spacer I also have a LS2 cam which should be a healthy boost in horsepower (I was told the 02 motor makes 320 at the crank, LS2 cam should bring that up another 50. Starts right up , runs and drives. runs cool. water guage works. factory speedometer needs cable hooked up (have new cable) tach will only work with tuning. power windows. hood and doors close easily. I'm not a mechanic or a bodyman but there is no obvious body rust. it does have some rust on the front floorpans (t tops cars tend to rust here) I was going to have someone install patch panels. I do see a small amount of rust around the lip of the trunk but not much. no rust around windows or dash or quarter panels that I can see. reason for selling, I love it but just don't have the time/energy to finish my car. If I keep it, I'll just have to pay someone to do the work
