This 1979 VW Super Beetle is one of the last to be built. It was born in November of 1979. The paint is original, and not perfect. The interior was redone in 2002, and is still in great condition. The original motor was removed and replaced, in 1999, with a VW factory 1600cc motor that has dual carbs and runs great. The top is new canvas, and goes up and down without a hitch. There is an aftermarket cd player in it. I have every receipt from everything bought or serviced on this care, back to the original birth certificate. The shoulder belts have been replaced with lap belts. The back window is glass with defrost. All the knobs are intact and functional. It runs like a dream. I had the windows tinted and the top of the windshield as well. I do not drive it everyday, but I never have had problems with it starting. The 4-speed transmission shifts great, clutch works great. Does 80 on the interstate no problem. Seats slide back and forth with ease. It has an aftermarket Grant steering wheel. It's got a bra on the front and eye lashes over the headlights. The truck and engine doors open and close with ease. This car has a lot of character. I turn heads everywhere I go. I am selling it because I need to thin out my vehicles.
