You are bidding on a 1994 Honda VT500FT Ascot. This is Honda's iconic 53 degree, 3-valve, shaft drive, water cooled V-twin. I am the second owner. The original owner was a fellow engineer at Chrysler who bought it new in 1985. I told my friend that if he ever were to sell it, I would buy it. My friend developed cancer in 2007 and I bought the bike from him that year with 7830 miles on the clock. It has been ridden a little over 2000 miles in the 7 years since then. As you can see from the photos this bike is perfect and that is not an exaggeration. It is stock except for the seat which was redone by Corbin including a get pad. The bike has been stored indoors during the winter. Everything works on this bike and the exhaust system is as-new. I have all maintenance history. There is one very small paint chip on the tank which is shown in one of the pictures. I am 62 years old, retiring, moving, and thinning out my collection of motorcycles. This is probably the best VT500FT in existence and would make a great addition for a VJMC collector that either wants to ride or show the bike.
