Vehicle Detail

Very rare 1954 international travel all R-120 series. This is a very rare vehicle with a cool history. It used to be the newspaper delivery vehicle for the Los Angeles Herald (Valley edition). The previous owner used it for trips to the beach where he would put his kids and their friends in the back. The starter went out, he had it towed home and let it sit for 18years. I purchased it with big plans of a full restoration but have other projects and realize that I don't have the time. I installed a new starter, primed the engine with oil, and to my surprise it fired right up. She runs great, might need a slight tune up. I have not driven it yet (the brakes need to be bleed). It is a very solid California vehicle. The front windshield is cracked along with the drivers door glass, passenger door glass, and rear window. The previous owner hit a car with the right front (see pictures). I'm not a body man but think the fender can be straitened, the grill may need to be replaced. I'm told that the front end is the same as a pick-up and parts can be found. The left rear has rust rot.(see pictures). There is some surface rust on the upper fenders right behind the hood(see pictures, not that bad). The floors and rest of the truck are very solid. The motor is a SD-240.Thanks for looking It is currently registered non-operational and I have the pink slip title on hand.If you have any questions feel free to email or call 805-587-7960 between 7am -7pm PSTI reserve the right to end the auction early.
