Vehicle Detail
Ok guys. This is the second round on here. The opening bid was 9,500. in the first ad. A lot of tire kickers but nothing serious. Now we'll go ahead and start it a 200 bucks with no reserve!!! I bet the Oldsmobile snobs out there will still think its overpriced :) Yes, I read about it on all the forums. You guys are very entertaining....the desperate housewives of the car community.... How many of you actually own a 69 Hurst??? Well don't worry, here's your chance..... How could someone purchase a set of heads for one of these cars for 13,000 bucks and be happy with the price and not think a real deal documented 69 Hurst olds with the vin and body tag, title, and a perfectly good restorable body aren't worth 10 grand?? So what the engine isn't correct... Half of the restored cars out there aren't #'s matching either. Not a 442 but a Hurst. 1 of a little over 900 made. Its a total project but has good bones. Its a California car. It has good floors and jams. A real good resto project. The factory wing, hood, and desirable 3 spoke steering wheel are there. The original rear is in it still. Its vin is in the Hurst registry and is documented. Non #'s motor. 71 455 and a Muncie 4 speed. Yes, this car was converted to stick. Yes there is a sunroof cut in the roof. It needs quarters, a trunk pan and a roof skin. The rest of the sheet metal appears to be savable. The inner wheel wells are good. The engine compartment is good. Non A/C car. There is a lot of parts not pictured including the seats, rear bumper and tail lights, misc. trim that come with the car. Aftermarket drivers side half quarter as well. Not many left. Car is in NY 1/2 hour North of Manhattan. This is the real deal. No reserve. As is, where is. This car does not run. Selling this car for a friend who is computer illiterate. Call Johnny @1-914-497-811Zero. Will assist in shipping as long as you arrange it and pay for it. Any questions, please ask. Key words... Hurst olds , 442 , restoration project , Linda Vaughn , his and hers , dual gate. Thanks for looking. do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers
