1965 Ford F-100 Truck 5.0L V-8 Automatic Matte (Flat) Black Paint with Red Interior The original operator's manual notes that the truck was initially purchased on 6/12/1965 from Courtesy Motors of Charlotte, NC. The engine was replaced with a 5.0L V-8 from a Mustang or F-150 approximately 22,500 miles ago at which time the transmission was changed from manual to automatic. I purchased the vehicle 2 years ago from a gentleman who said he had it for about 10 years and purchased the car from the original owner. The original 3 volume shop manuals were included with purchase at that time. Since the vehicle was purchased 2 years ago, the following have been completed: new exterior paint, replaced fender and hood emblems, replaced gas cap, replaced chrome light housings (tail, parking, headlights), replaced front wheel cylinders, replaced front brake hoses, replaced rear brake shoes, replaced fuel sender, replaced transmission mount, cleaned fuse holder, replaced battery and installed new tray and bracket, replaced worn heater hoses, replaced heater core, replaced steering box and rag joint, and replaced fuel pump. The only outstanding issue is the wiper motor needs to be replaced. After taking care of its mechanical issues, the truck runs strong, starts up without any issues, and has no leaks. It's truly a solid truck! Clean NC title in hand.
