I purchased this motorcycle back in 1997 from a gentlemen that purchased it brand new from our local Honda Shop. He rode it for a three or four years then it ended up in his garage once he got married. I rode the bike roughly till 2007 then I myself ended up storing it as I didn't have time to ride. I ended up purchasing a new motorcycle and started this motorcycle every summer except for the last 4 years. It has been sitting in storage this whole time covered. Originally I was not going to sell it and keep it for future use but as time has continued it's just taking up space and I realized it would be better off in the hands of someone that would use it. The bike has some slight damage only from falling over, never from a crash. As I stated the motorcycle has not been started over the last 4 years and I no longer have a battery to do so. The motorcycle was working when put into storage but the motorcycle is being sold as is. I know the inside of the tank will need to be cleaned, fluids changed, carbs cleaned and obviously will need a new battery. The motorcycle will surely need a complete look over before being ridden, though the tires are still brand new as I had them replaced before it ended up going into storage. Motorcycle is located in Allenstown NH 03275. Local pick up is preferred (you will need a trailer or truck), But if the buyer wants it shipped, shipping costs and arrangements are the buyers responsibility. A $500 deposit to Paypal will be required 24hours after the auction ends. Balance due seven days after auction ends. Cash on pickup, a Cashier's Check / MO is fine to pay for the balance but will need to clear my bank (Citizens) before the motorcycle will be released. Any questions please free to ask! Hard to see small dents or scratches on the tank. Can you take a good look at it and describe any dings or chips? 2. Can you tell me if there are any broken hold down tabs on the black mesh side covers that are on either side of the bike? Very common for these to be broken. Thanks much! Thank you for asking about the black mesh side covers would have never thought about it! It does appear that some of the tabs are missing I took a picture of the backside of each cover. Any other questions let me know! Thanks Q: Without fresh gas a good battery I guess we cannot even hear it run? A: No, sorry. That's why the auction says as is. It had fuel preserver in it but the gas is certainly not fresh by any means seeing as it's been 4+years since it's been changed out. As I said in the auction it's going to need all fluids changed, tank cleaned and look a over like carbs, plugs, etc. I'm sure.
