Up for sale is this 1964 Pontiac Tempest Wagon equipped with a 326/250hp engine and a automatic transmission. This wagon was built in Fremont Ca.factory and sold in the San Francisco Bay Area.This car has spent it's entire life in a dry California climate and has had only 2 owners.The car was bought in 1977 from the original owner then driven for two years then put in a garage for 15 years. The car has been freshened up and put back into daily use.The original interior is still in the car having just a couple of tears on the front seat. This wagon is very dry in all of the usual rust areas: floors,hood,fenders,quarters,ect.are all rust free. The only area with any rust is the bottom edge ot the passenger front door.All glass is original and in good condition.All electrical works as it should: tail lights,brake lights,horn, dash lights, gauges,(full tank of gas) oil/generator/temp lights,reverse lights, dome light,radio still works,cigarette lighter, ect. all work as they should. The left rear tail light will be replaced with a new one this week. This wagon is very pleasant to drive and gets many compliments wherever it goes.I wouldn't hesitate to get in and drive this thing anywhere.Overall this is a very nice original 2 owner survivor and you would be hard pressed to find another in this condition anytime soon.Clear California title included with the sale.
