Vehicle Detail
1988 Jeep Wrangler YJ Great Engine, Great Shifting, Rebuilt Carburetor, Beautiful Frame, Make An Offer! It runs, and drives. Although its running a little rough and rich right now, but definitely still drivable. The Carburetor idle needs to be adjusted--or replaced if you so wish...(An MC 2150 comes with it, a common Carburetor that is swapped with the stock Carter) Brakes are pretty rough too, they need to be bled bad. I6 4.2L 5-speed. Has an amazing frame; very solid. New Starter, battery, rebuilt carb, lots of work that has been done to this jeep. Shifts well, motor and carburetor are both in good condition. Just put in a transfer case, but it looks like it's leaking a little bit--easy fix if you know how to do it. It is a great jeep, perfect for off-roading. Comes with lots of spare parts including a hard top and bikini top. It's a great project jeep!--and a really cheap one too. There's some work still a lot of work to be done. It needs the front drive shaft attached (I have one to go with it). The muffler needs to be put on (I also have one to go with it). It is loud right now, but that never bothered me. Other issues are rust spots on the drivers side floor boards. And a rust hole on the passenger side. The fenders are cut to accommodate the 33 in tires, which are in decent, but not great condition. The hardtop's hinge is rusted through, making the top latch hard to open and close (but not impossible). There are a few cracks in the hard top as well. No leaks on the hard top. The doors are also not in great condition. A few gauges do not work, Tac does though! Nothing major at all. All cheap things to fix, if need be. The brakes, as I said, need to be bled. They are rough right now, but just a little TLC will make this machine into a great Jeep. It's awesome to drive and fun to toy with, but I no longer have the time to put into it. It would make a great project and will be a lot of fun for anyone. I want to sell it to someone who can put the time into it that it deserves. Great price for a Jeep. Buyer must pick up and haul, cash in hand. U-Haul is a great place that can rent equipment to haul this. Please message me with any questions. I am reasonable and will entertain offers.
