Ok, Folks.... Up for auction we have this nice 1958 Edsel Pacer 4 Dr. Sedan. This is a good project car for someone, the body is in fair shape with rust in the normal places (Please see pictures) I just bought this car a few months back but now faced with medical bills I need to sell her and find her a good home. I have had the car running (Hot wired) It needs an ignition switch & fuel pump I think? Could be in the line between tank and pump. I have not driven the car, all lights and horn work. Radio comes on has static No Antenna. Stainless trim in very good shape, I am told that the trans was 100% rebuild in 1997 with about 48000 miles showing and around that same time had a new radiator core installed and also new brakes all around. I have pulled the wheels and brakes are still new... Wheel cylinders after sitting? I also have a 1958 Edsel Electrical manual that I purchased along with the chrome trim (In good USED Condition) that goes around the Edsel Horse collar grill Please ask for more pictures if needed, eBay will not allow me to post all the pictures I have taken. THE BAD NEWS::::: this car was parked in the year 2000 due to an electrical short that caused part of the wiring harness under the hood melted (Shown in pictures) Thinking there is a short in the ignition switch?? Not sure?? Also can't get the trunk open with a key. ( have directions on how to open) Other than that check out the pictures... She is in good shape for her age, floor pan are solid, spare tire well will need fixing or replace. This car would be a great restoration project car. Have some records going back as far as 1996-97 Someone PLEASE give this car a good home it just needs a little love and caring for.... I think the pictures will give you a good idea on its condition... PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING, I WILL ANSWER THEM THE BEST I CAN.
