I've been in the car restoration business for 40 years and bought this last October to restore and sell this summer; however the employee who would have done most of the work got sick and couldn't work. I wear about 40 hats in the business so with my other projects have not gotten around to it and am not going to. I mention I've been in business for 40 years to convey the idea that I know how to pick the easy & profitable restorations. In any case this has the 2 liter engine, which was running well when purchased; however doesn't seem to want to start now due to the factory alarm shutting things down. the car drove well with the exception that it didn't want to go into a couple of gears-originally I thought it might be the linkage, now think the tranny may need changing or rebuilding. The body is quite straight and rust free. The top is good, but it will need a back window. the interior has some split seams which can be sewed easily. While maybe not for the faint of heart or totally inexperienced it would be a shame to junk this car. As a bonded Washington dealer the purchaser is gauranteed good tittle to this car. Washington residents must pay sales tax & transfer fees as well as signing applicable transfer documents out of state residents have no taxes to pay,but do have to sign the appropriate sales documents and unless stated other wise all vehicle sales are as is.
