UPDATE: Price Reduction Fuel Pump Died 7/16Went out to turn her on today and nothing. I am less than a week from moving and my garage has no openings for an emergency job. I spent all afternoon pulling relays, plugs, and fuses praying for a dirty connection and had no luck. CAR IS NO LONGER RUNNING!! It will need a trailer to be picked up. Hello all,I am currently selling my 1987 Scirocco. I hate to part with it, but I will be starting a new job at the end of the month as well as relocating and will not have the necessary space to store her. It has the 16V DOHC motor with 158,525 miles. 5 speed manual transmission. It is a two tone silver metallic and gunmetal metallic grey. Slightly bluish tinted windows. It does have a CD/AUX/USB player with Polk Audio sound system and a Phoenix Gold amplifier to boost the speakers all professionally installed. Interior is all original and in great condition with the exception of a small hole from years of wear and tear on the driver seat. All maintenance has been done by Wolfe's Volkswagen Audi Service including yearly maintenance and tune ups. I have retained nearly all receipts. New wheels and tires were added a little over a year ago. Recent maintenance include, new brakes all around, new wheel bearings, CV boot replacement, clutch cable replacement, oil cooler O-ring replacement. Again all maintenance done by Wolfe's.There is one minor scrape on the front air dam where I miss judged the height of a curb and scraped up the paint. There is also a crack in the bondo plate where the door handles used to be (Car has shaved door handles with electronic door release poppers) where someone opened their door into the car in a parking lot. However the door poppers are seized and no longer work. I was saving up the funds to put a new set in later this year. However, they are not necessary to gain access to the car as I have created a temporary fix for the problem for the time being. I am unsure of the amount of owners the car has had, but I did purchase the car in April of 2011 and it has been my every day vehicle since.I also have a set of 4 AZEV 5 spoke wheels. They will be sold separately from the car, but if the buyer is interested in the wheels we can discuss a price for them and I can send photo's of them as well. The AZEV wheels are not in the greatest condition and should be redone as the chrome has started to peel from years of road wear.For further inquiries about the car, I can be reached any time at (717) 979-7990. Payment must be through cash or Certified Check ONLY. A deposit of $500 must be made within the first 24 hrs. of sale to my Paypal account.
