At auction is a 1978 CJ-5 "go anywhere" Jeep with the big 4.2 liter 6 cyl engine. The engine runs strong and has no known problems. The ignition was recently (less than 200 miles ago) replaced with a new electronic system. Also recently added is new 20 gallon gas tank and rock shield. The tires are good. The removable top is in good condition, and the windows are all clear. The seats are in good condition. The floorboards on both the driver and passenger side are rusted through, but new floorboards are included. (See photo) The new floorboards need to be welded in place and I am not a welder. In the interim, there are new floor mats which hide the problem, but obviously don't fix it. The odometer reading is 20539.7 miles, but on a car this old it is likely that the reading is not accurate. Included are complete factory shop manuals. See photos.
