My age requires me to sell this car before finishing. I bought the Hawk from my next door neighbor who has owned this car for 12 years. The car hasn't been used during that time, except to be started and moved around occasionally. This car has spent most of its life in Tucson. The Hawk is 99% rust free, a quarter size rust where most hawks gather mud in the lower corner of the front fender easy fix. The body work that is needed can be seen in picture of the the hood in the corner. All Chrome is in good to excellent condition no pits. This Hawk is complete. The front seat has been recovered to the original pattern and color, rear seat needs to be done. All floors are rust free and solid, trunk is the same. Dash needs to be recovered easy covering (not the molded type). All glass like new, All electric works: Gauges, lights, turn signal. Original radio works. Exhaust system is near new, The tires are like new. Things I have done:Front and rear engine seal, oil pan gasket, rear transmission seal. Complete valve job, rebuilt posi traction (twin trac). All new bearing and seals in differential. Engine runs strong, there is good oil pressure, transmission shifts as it should. Overdrive works. Super charger is working and is quiet. I drove the car around the block, had to pump the brakes to stop. Brake are not safe and will need to be checked out and repaired. The rear brakes looked good when I rebuilt the differential. This car has been sitting for 12+ years and will probably need other attention. Sold as is no warranty.
