The hearse is powered by the Corvette-derived 5.7 liter (350 ci) LT1 V8 engine coupled to an automatic overdrive transmission, and gets approximately 16 MPG city/21 MPG freeway. The 22 gallon fuel tank provides a highway range of over 400 miles, and the fuel-injected engine takes regular unleaded gasoline. Equipped with all the luxury features expected in a classic Cadillac Fleetwood: leather-trimmed power driver and passenger seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, electronic climate control, cruise control, power windows and remote keyless entry system, Twilight Sentinel automatic headlights, AM/FM cassette radio, automatic parking brake release, tilt steering wheel, illuminated visor vanity mirrors, alarm system, Cadillac alloy wheels, and more. It is a simple system: You set the desired interior temperature (a toggle-type switch), and forget it. The vehicle will maintain that temperature, switching between cooling and heating, and raising or lowering blower speed, as needed.
