This is a well preserved survivor of the best selling Ford truck! California Blue Plate special. Original 360 V8. No engine light or smog ever! For a truck, it is a comfortable ride with automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. Body is straight, no rust. Paint on the hood is faded. The rest still has a shine but shows fine scratches from years of normal use. Windows, latches and locks all work as they should, with the original locks (same key.) It has good tires and brakes. Does not run hot or leak oil. It is ready to use as a daily driver in its present condition. It comes with a Pioneer stereo, heavy duty trailer hitch and receiver, and a custom fabricated ancillary gas tank. Within the last year, the elderly owner had the garage replace the master cylinder, exhaust manifold gaskets, radiator, cap, battery and spark plugs. No longer driving (he) had passed it on. California registration is valid until 2015. This mostly cosmetic detailing we know would require attention to make this truck "perfect": Turn signals and gauges work. Inside indicators may need new bulbs, as is oil light.3-speed heater fan switch does not turn fan on.Dash has a crack.Seat cover is worn under driver.Horn ring is missing.Headliner panel is missing.Need to find a spare wheel with tire.Hood springs mountings are loose, slightly weak to stay up. AC equipment is all intact. It may not have been serviced for years.Most chrome trims are good, shown on the bed in the picture. Need new clips to install.
