Actual mileage is unknown. A synonym for luxury, Cadillac has long touted itself as "The Standard of the World," and a look at this 1940 Cadillac reveals why. This stately avocado green five-passenger vehicle drips with class from the sleek art-deco chrome exterior to the comfortable and spacious interior complete with luggage compartment. This sedan has been treated to a sympathetic restoration some years ago and has held up very well since. The interior has been completely replaced and today shows very little wear on the upholstery. A look under the hood reveals the immaculate restoration that was recently done. The overall presentation of this vehicle is such that it could be driven without care or worry or easily be pushed over the edge as a show-stopper wherever it goes. This 1940 Cadillac Fleetwood is in excellent condition with a recently completed engine rebuild. This vehicle is currently owned by the largest limousine company in the state of Kentucky. It was used as a wedding vehicle for a little over a year before we had engine problems. The vehicle was sent to Stanton Racing and the original engine was completely rebuilt from the ground up. I have pictures of the entire process from blown engine to completely rebuilt engine. The engine rebuild was a 3 month process that cost over $10,000.00 and was done by one of the best in the business. The vehicle was placed on the dyno after the rebuild and was putting out 168 horsepower. Buyer is in charge of making shipping arrangements. True mileage in unknown.
