Vehicle Detail
1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Justin 503-969-5127 Hello eBayers!!! Here is something really cool and straight out of the 70s. This is a 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe. It has T-Tops, Removable Rear Glass, An Automatic Transmission, 3 Point Safety Harnesses, The LT1 Engine, and lots more that I will describe in detail as I work through this description. This Corvette has been a prize of the previous owners for over 20 years. It has been shown in the Northwest and has always been admired by attendees. A huge amount of money was just spent on the vehicle before an illness forced a sale.. This is a great opportunity to get an amazing vehicle for an amazing price. The paint color is Mille Miglia Red (973) It is not a red that is bold and in your face like a fire engine. It is more of a softer pearlescent candy apple red. It is beautifully done. There are very few chips or blemishes anywhere. I didn’t find any, but if you do please accept my error as an honest mistake and not a purposeful omission. The Corvette is also hand pinstriped by the popular artist Mackie. The attention to detail in this Corvette is displayed on every small nook and cranny. Everywhere I look I can see that someone took time and energy to make sure that whatever was done, it was done with quality and inspection in mind. Most of the engine compartment is creatively labeled in elegant writing so as to let viewers know what they are seeing when the car is on display. The Stingray looks as good underneath as it does on top. No corners were cut and the cleanliness shows that this was never a daily driver. The engine just received a rebuild less than 100 miles ago by Peter Priss Mechanical. It is still using break in oil. It runs flawlessly and the car is fast and powerful. The engine sounds amazing with the Hooker Full Length Headers and custom exhaust. Here is what I know about the engine… It is a 350 C.I. LT1 Engine built to 375 HP. It still uses the Factory Holly 4 bbl Carburetor. It has Mahle Pistons, 5.5’’ Solid Lift Gear Drive, Roller Rockers, Factory Aluminum Valve Covers, 7 Blade Fan with Chrome Shroud, New idler Arms, Stainless Distributor and Coil Cover, Chrome Thermostat Housing, 140 Amp Chrome Alternator, Chrome Air Cleaner, K&N Air Filter I am going to just list the other new parts on the Corvette in no particular order. All brand new inside of 100 miles. Billstein Shocks Front and Rear, Polyurethane Bushings, Tie Rods, Stabilizer Arms, Link Rods Front and Rear, Mini Turbo Mufflers, Stainless Exhaust Tips, Fuel Pump, All Belts and Hoses and 8mm High Temp Ignition Wires. The Corvette Also has a Rebuilt Master Cylinder and Power Booster GM OEM, and a Fully Re-Cored OEM Correct GM Radiator. It has its working factory Installed Air Conditioning and New Cross Drilled Rotors and Brake Pads on all 4 Corners. 245/60 R15 HP 4000 Tires Measuring 12/32nds all around. There is literally nothing left to do on this Corvette but enjoy it. The miles stated in the ad reflect what is currently on the odometer. Because of the vehicle's age, I can't guarantee as actual. Hopefully the pictures do it justice; It is a seriously nice piece of Americana. I am setting the reserve low on this sale, not because I don’t believe the vehicle to be valuable, but because I want it to sell the first go around to a real person. Please bid with good intentions and prepare to pay if you win. I know not all of you out there will understand the details of an ebay vehicle purchase. That is why my phone number is all over the ad. Don’t assume anything.. If you have a question about ANYTHING just ask it.. I will answer all except the ones about what the reserve is.. That kind of defeats the purpose in having one at all.. Here are some points to follow. #1. Only bid if you have intentions to buy. #2. Ask any and all questions before bidding. #3. Please contact me BEFORE BIDDING if you have zero or negative feedback. #4. This is an AS-IS sale. I have done my best to describe it exactly as I see it but it has no warranties or guarantees except a clean and clear legal title after payment. #5. I will not accept Pay-Pal for the balance payment of the Corvette. I use Pay-Pal for deposits only, the balance must be paid by certified check or wire. Legitimate and legal buyers only please. Just be real and genuine and I will make sure that the winning bidder is happy with his or her purchase. I have 100% positive feedback and I plan on keeping that. Also, I will end the sale for the right offer so don’t wait till the last second and worry about missing out. Just call me and we will work out a fair price.. I’m Justin my Phone number is 503-969-5127.
