Vehicle Detail

Very nice 1975 Honda 360 Scrambler (CL360). This was the next to the last year for the Honda parallel twin—kind of the epitome of the type began in 1968 with the Honda 350. These last few years the engine size was increased slightly (actually a little more than it sounds like—the 350 was really 326cc and the 360 is really 356cc) and the bike was fitted with a six-speed transmission. This example is all original, all stock, and in really nice shape. Starts easily by kick or electric, runs great, 6-speed trans shifts just like it is supposed to, clutch is great. I checked the brakes on this and the shoes are in good shape with lots of life left, and they stop like they are supposed to. The front tire has good tread, but shows some weather checking, and the back tire is pretty well worn. Holds air, but should be replaced soon. The paint is pretty nice, especially considering the age, but is a little faded on the side covers as you can see in the pics. There is also a minor dent in the fuel tank that is visible in the pictures. The seat is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or holes. Chain looks fine, and there is lots of adjustment left. The forks show no leakage. The chrome on the pipes and fenders is excellent, not perfect, but almost. Speedo and Tach work. All electrics work, lights, turn-signals and so on, except the horn. Overall this is an excellent example of a 40 year old classic Honda. But—it is 40 years old, so don’t expect a new bike. It does show a bit of wear and some age and of course there is no guarantee. Clear title. These are easy to work on, and parts are available. Shipping, if needed, is the buyers responsibility, both payment and making arrangements. I can help load. Of course you can pick the bike up in person (Wichita, KS). A $300 non-refundable deposit by PayPal is required within 24 hours of auction end. Payment of balance can be by bank check, cash, wire transfer. Payment must be made in full (and cleared through my bank) before the bike leaves.
