1974 VW Super Beetle, 1600 Dual Port. Car has been refurbished from inside & out. New paint, complete new interior (seats, foam, carpet, carpet padding, headliner, door panels). Solid floor pans, new trunk bed, new seat rails & bushings & exterior light lens. New rubber seals over entire car (windows, doors trunk, hood & fenders). New gas tank & sending unit. New speedo cable and hub. Engine along with carburator was rebuilt along with new clutch assembly & brakes, all new heater & air cables & front end. Shifter tube bushings replaced. Has a original VW- FM/AM Stereo Radio installed. Comes with original AM radio that was refurbished and also that works. Bumpers are original and show wear. Bumper caps are new along with seals. Would have replaced but they are not avail at this time. Odometer is inop, shows 1690. EPA gas vapor return is complete and functional. Dependable car for daily driver or just for weekend fun. Both were replaced with new boots and bearings regreased with synthetic bearing grease. On Jul-09-14 at 05:06:29 PDT, seller added the following information: All lights work, door interior, bright to dim, parking, running lights, backup, dash and hand brake. Wiper and turn signal indicators are new and fully functional to include windscreen washer with all hoses replaced for the washer to include washer head and wiper bushing. Rear defroster is also operational with working dash light indicator. New horn and wired as original setup. Car was originally a A/C car but was removed by previous owner. All dealer made holes have been fixed and all original defrost and air rubber & tubing has been re-installed. All positions for air and defrost work as does electric fan. Comes with electric pump for windshield was is so inclined to install. also have numerous spare items to be included. Comes with original jack and lug wrench -mounted under rear seat, passenger side. Undercarriage has been cleaned and undercoated with rubber based under coating. All seats & tire rims were sandblasted, primed and repainted. Front end alignment was also done and drives straight.
