The hardtop version of this car was specified by the Texas Highway Patrol with a Holly 4 Barrel Carb, Hurst 4 Speed Manual Transmission, and in addition to rear shocks - Stabilizers were added. The dealership in Houston, TX which supplied the Southern District of the Texas Highway patrol ordered one of these cars and requested from the factory that it be a convertible. The dealership used this car for show and demos for a short period of time before it was purchased by the existing owner in 1982.This car is all original equipment, with the exceptions noted above, and is still owned by the original buyer - A one owner car.Car has been garaged for its entire life and has followed the owner to Texas, Georgia, California, and now Arizona.
