Vehicle Detail

Relisted due to nonpaying bidder (eduardoxxxxxxx2012, please don't waste my time again. Your bid will be rejected) I have a 1959(Not sure on the commission year) MGA. I obtained this car with the intent of a restoration but lost my storage space. I had it put away for almost 2 years and knew there was some frame issues but after removing from storage, the rust in the frame has progressed beyond what I could repair. I have a 63 Triumph half finished so this is for sale for parts. I don't have the title (Ebay made me put "salvage" under title to take the listing) but I will be happy to give you a bill of sale. The frame and seats are beyond repair. The motor is complete and does turn by hand. All the gauges are intact and cosmetically good but some of the trim rings are rusted andI have no idea of functionality. It has all 5 original wire wheels. They appear to be straight and true but will need refinishing. The aluminum doors, hood, and trunk lid are intact but the hood was damaged before I received it but it is workable to get back to original. The body panels are useable but will need some work. The top frame and windshield frame are intact but the windshield itself is broken. The transmission allows it to roll but beyond that, I can't say. The steering is functional but it is stiff. The car is for local pick up only. I am located in NW North Carolina near Boone. The trailer in some of the pics is not included in the sale. A $150 nonrefundable deposit by PP is needed within 48 hours for the auction winner (Ebay has to have their cut) and the balance when the winner picks it up (cash is preferred). I need it removed within 20 days after the auction ends please. I have a 100% positive feedback rating as a buyer and seller and want to be completely up front and honest with any potential buyer. If you have any questions PLEASE ASK. If I don't know I will find out for you. Thanks for looking and good luck.... To answer a couple of questions I have received, the commission # is BDR43/41603. Also the plate on the engine is 16GA/U/2443. It also has a "15" stamped in the block on the right rear of the block. I can only assume it's a 1500 cc motor. I'm not familiar enough with the marque to know.On Jun-27-14 at 08:33:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Relisted due to nonpaying bidder (eduardoxxxxxxx2012, please don't waste my time again. I'm not familiar enough with the marque to know. I have received several requests for a picture of the frame. I would have to put it on a lift to do that and am not able to. The rust is about 2 feet long and runs down the inside of the frame under the drivers door. It is beyond my ability to repair and I frankly don't see it being repaired but replaced. I have a friend here who has a frame that he offered to sell me and I can put the winner in contact with him. There is sag under the drivers door now that was not there when I stored it. That's why I'm listing it as a parts car.
