Up for sale is an excellent project vehicle. I am selling a 1940 Cadillac 60 Special that is in really good shape. This vehicle was purchased with a locked up engine. After soaking the engine in marvel mystery oil, the engine was freed and able to run. Engine runs well but does smoke. The 3 speed transmission works well. The car will drive under its own power. Will need to be hauled away, only has the passenger side rear brakes currently working. The car comes with extra pieces and parts. I am unsure if the car is 100% complete but it appears to have almost all of the pieces that go with it. The interior is rough, but complete. We wired an electric fuel pump to the vehicle so that it can run. We did not tamper with anything original. Just set it up so we could run it and move it around. The body is very solid, the truck was fiberglassed by the previous owner and will need some work. The car is an excellent candidate for a restoration or rat rod. Speedometer does read 19,510 miles.
