1951 MGTD: Up for bid is this nice MG TD. I purchased this car from a private seller in Harrisburg, PA in 1988 where it had been sitting in a barn for 10 years. The car starts and runs fine, has PA special title. Upholstery and top have been replaced, installed MGA ring & pinion in rear axle, wood work is good, has new battery and fuel pump. It has turn signals, teak dash, updated fan for better cooling, updated thermostat, radial tires, headlights have Lucas Medallion on them from original. It has built-in thermostat on radiator cap. Hand crank and side screens included. It has a small oil leak on back of engine, mice chewed the carpet a little, needs some paint, chrome bumpers and wheel caps are pitted, brakes are tight. I would not hesitate to take it on a road trip. At end of auction, $500.00 deposit required within 24 hours, then balance due within 7 days. Buyer to arrange pick up. No shipping available.
