Up for sale is a real Barn find. This is a rare American made VW camper van. Its called a Riviera, the top pops straight up. One owner, 64k original miles! Stove burners, fridge, and 120v outlets work great! The hand pump for the sink has a hard time pumping water, but it's a cheap easy fix! Starts right up every time and the motor purrs, Brand new webber carb. very rare automatic 3 speed transmission! Shifts through gears well. The headlights, brake lights and turn signals all work, the brakes work as they should. Does have a crack in the windshield. This van was parked in a barn for 20 years on jack stands. It was painted flat lavender purple in the mid 80's. There is no rust in the common spots, the van is extremely solid. (very minor surface rust in some areas.) Original floors with no holes, a few minor dings here and there, but over all very, very solid. The interior is very nice, and all original. Nice clean headliner and cushions, the cabinetry is not warped or broken as you can tell in the photos. There is a carpet cut out/ mat that protects the original floor as well The original canvas is in good condition with no rips, and the bed/cushions up top are in excellent shape. I wouldn't consider the interior 10/10, but its in great original condition. A paint job back to the original white would make this a show worthy camper, but I feel the lavender color gives it character! A one owner, low mileage camper like this with a factory automatic transmission, clean original interior and virtually no rust is very hard to find. (more detailed photos upon request.)
