This is a 1966 mustang 289 v8 automatic. This car runs and drives great, engine runs perfect and fires as soon as key is tapped. 289 has edelbrock 4 barrell carburator and intake. Has headers and sounds Great ! Drove around today in 100 degree heat for hours and engine never got hot. No leaks. Interior has pony package interior and looks great, front seats just had new upholstery because they were starting to crack. Door panels look great. Small tear in left rear corner of headliner that was repaired (not perfect) and small tear on left rear interior panel that was repaired (also not perfect). Paint is 5 years old and looks good but not perfect, driver quality but not show perfect. Gaps are not perfect, some small runs. Some small scratches near gas cap, and 1 on driver door ( size of a nickel ). Tires have plenty of tread and look good, they are not matching front to rear and they are older ( been parked in garage for last 5 years) . If I get the buy it now price I will put new tires on it for the buyer. Vynle top looks great, lights and gauges work, I was told radio works when I purchased it but I never hooked it up and there are no speakers. Chrome looks new, driver side mirror glass is cracked (functional but new glass would fix it). Windows and doors open and shut very smooth and easy. Just changed the oil, tuned carb, and serviced to get road worthy. I would drive this car anywhere in the country tomorrow with no worries. There is no warranty on this car and it is as is so if you have any questions ask before bidding. They look brand new so I'm thinking the previous owner changed the moldings when the paint and body was done. Another note, the tear on the left rear corner of the headliner was repaired but not very well. It is functional and not hanging down. It is close to the package tray and it is about 6 inches long. Also the little chrome piece in the middle of the drivers seat on the back gets to be about 200 degrees on a hot day, I took it off and can't find it.
