Vehicle Detail
****PLEASE READ **** Up for Bid I have a 1980 Camaro Z28 Clone. The car is originally a sport coupe (305 motor). I purchased the car with no front end. The motor is new 0 miles, 4 bolt 010 high nickel block, crank is studded. lunati Cam, I will try to find the numbers prior to sale. Has a lopping idle but matches heads perfect. Heads are Edelbrock RPM. Crane roller rockers with correct push rods for the cam. I would re-adjust rollers after running it for a few hundred miles. Double roller timing chain, standard degreeing. All new cam,rod and crank bearings, plasma type rings. Should make minimum 375 hp to 400 hp. The trans is a 350 turbo, looks to be brand new from TCI. When I bought the car it had a Holley 750 and a Weiand G Sport Intake on it. I replaced the Holley with a rebuilt Quadrajet and Performer intake. Car also has full length stainless steal headers and Flowmaster mufflers. Rims and tires are brand new. Rear rims are custom, they are 10 inches deep (on the inside). Upper control arm bushings have been replaced along with the ball joints. Dash was refitted with a Z28 Cluster with after market temp gauge and oil gauge. Factory tach was reworked using a Sun Tach. Interior is very clean, seats are not torn or dry. Original rear panels were scratched and dry, I was not going to re-use them. I installed a set that was red but have been dyed black at some point. Rear seats are real nice as are the front and the console. Head liner was replaced by previous owner. Door panels are in good shape, drivers side kick panel is broken but will be included. Dash has two cracks but is usable, not bad at all. I put the Z28 front end on along with new inner fender wheels. I purchased the internals for the hood scoop and had a harness made. Air Induction hood works as it should. Body has one rust spot on the passenger side bellow the rear window (not on the channel). Very solid car. It will need a small repair on the frame rails lower sections. A small plate will need to be welded in. You can get away without it but I would do it. The front floors had some work done by the previous owner. Also brakes are all brand new, front lines, brake booster, master cylinder. Body mounts have been replaced also radiator was replaced with a 4 core aluminum race unit. I think this car was originally a 4 speed car. I know there are things I forgot so please ask. All the Z28 spoilers are on the car, Front sides and center along with the 2 rears that sit in front of the rear tires. DOORS HAVE NO SAG AT ALL! THEY OPEN AND CLOSE AS THEY SHOULD! Any questions please ask. Thanks, Bill
