Up for sale is this 2004 VW Passat GLX with only 85K Miles. The vehicle is clean inside and out. The interior is in good condition, showing minimal wear and tear, and the exterior is also in good condition, but does a have few scuffs/scratches. Please view the pictures for a visual description. The vehicle is priced low because it requires transmission work, or possibly a newer transmission. The car will not move; therefore, it would have to be towed. I did get a few quotes on a transmission and installation, and they range from $900 to $1200. However, I purchased another, and decided not to have the work done. The engine is runs good, and all of the other components function properly. The airbag is on, which is common on VWs, but it's nothing more than the clock spring, which is a quick and inexpensive repair. This is a very nice vehicle, and it's worth fixing. The GLX model is the top-of-the-line, plus this one has 4-motion. I'm hoping to sell quickly so submit your best offers early. Thanks!
