Vehicle Detail
Jeep is in excellent condition for it's age. This is one of the nicest TJ's that I have owned and I have had many. The Jeep drives straight as can be, has no rattles, or play in steering. There are no vibrations, wobbles, or unexplained noises. I purchased this Jeep from a local auction listed as a flood. I personally walk insurance auctions every week looking for the best of the lot. I came across this Jeep and noticed that it was turn key, running and driving. Once I picked up the vehicle I determined that the water level was just above the bottom of the door. I proceeded to pull the seats and carpet and wash out the interior. Next I drained all fluids (engine, transmission, transfer case, front and rear dif) and everything was clean. Next I replaced the front brake calipers, rotors, starter and battery(weak). I have been buying and selling salvage, reconstructed vehicles for the last 15 years. I specifically target low flood vehicles to purchase at these auctions. I have over 20 years experience in the mobile electronics industry and find low flood vehicles to be easy repairs. After driving the Jeep for a few weeks I decided to add a 2.5" Rough Country lift kit, 1" Body mount lift kit, 1" transfer case drop, new shocks, steering stabilizer, and 5 new Goodyear Duratrac tires. I added the new Winch mount bumper and new Badlands 12,000lb winch. I changed the original fender flares with OEM Sahara flares. These are 1" wider than standard flares, They are sprayed with bed liner. Next I upgraded the radio to a New Clarion cd radio with Bluetooth and USB. I added the RAM phone mount and Panavise bracket. Next I installed a MTX 8" powered subwoofer and changed out front and rear speakers (I think MA Audio but can't remember) Stereo sounds great. I also installed a Pursuit 2 way paging alarm system with remote start and LCD display remote. I added a hidden hitch and wire harness. This Jeep runs and drives perfectly. I have driven it aprox 6000 miles since purchase. Jeep has AC and it's cold. I have driven it round trip 800 miles from Philly to the Outer Banks NC and would not hesitate to drive it cross country or anywhere. If your familiar with Jeeps than you will know that they are designed to be driven in deep water up to 30" or so. The flood water level never made it to any electronics in this Jeep or anything that could have been damaged. It needed no special work for it to be reconstructed. You are welcome to contact me if you would like to drive it before purchase. If you do win this auction and after seeing it you decide you don't want it, I will not hold you to purchasing it. You can walk away.
