Up for auction is my 1966 Honda Cb77 superhawk Café racer. Tank emblems are originals as well as the side chrome panels supposedly these can rev up to 9k which is pretty impressive for a 66 These Bikes are getting harder to find, they are very unique and have a huge influence in the Honda world and racing bike was completely stripped down to the frame/ tank / forks / seat were all painted duplicolor wild strawberry. new gas cap / tank was flushed and petcock cleaned, all new gas lines. carbs were gone through, heavier return springs were put it. new air filters / carbs still leak mostly the right side. like any older bike of this age the floats are warped, never replaced them I usually always turn the fuel off when parked. new handle bars / twist throttle sleeve / grips / brake and clutch levers. One handle bar bolt was over torqued and broke off in the mount, just needs to be replaced steering stabilizer works as it should, speedometer cable is disconnected, never bothered to put one back on. Tach / gauge / neutral safety light all work the bike was professionally wired by Hornet Performance out of Somers Ct. Went through the entire bike and made a completely new harness. All new connections / inline fuse. harness was shrink wrapped grey. new power and ground cables / battery relocated under the seat / custom battery tray mount. New Ignition switch and keys. charging system is working, Kick start only ( still have electric start motor on the bike if you ever wanted to go back. New Fiberglass seat, with foam pad / brake light assembly switch. All lights work, high / low beam / running light and brake light . No blinkers , it was not produced with them for this year. no horn but wires and button are in place. fresh oil and filter / spark plugs / point gapped and starts first kick. on colder days you will need the choke. Brakes are adjusted and firm, drum brake front and rear. Brand New Duro 3.50 - 18 tires mounted and balanced / new chain / sprocket New rear suspension mounted license plate bracket. custom exhaust with cocktail shakers, great unique sound. all new heat wrap Rare Factory Side kickstand . no center stand, new foot peg rubber, shifter Motor has all new gaskets and doesn't leak a drop . only fuel ! im sure I am forgetting some parts but all and all it is a fun bike to get on and cruise some back roads or grab a coffee on NOT something you are going to go cross counry on. it is reliable but be reasonable I starts first kick and idles down great, once she warms up she is ready to go There are some minor scratches here and there on frame and throughout the bike. not perfect but gets looks everywhere I go. any questions or specific pictures that you want let me know ! bike is for sale locally , I reserve the right to end the auction early if it does sell. feel free to come take a look at it before you bid.
