1971 Triumph Daytona T100R 500cc COMPLETE!!! MATCHING NUMBERS!!!!! What you are bidding on in this auction is a 1971 Triumph Daytona T100R 500cc Classic motorcycle. This is the most pristine and original barn find you will ever come across!!! This bike is all original, matching numbers and is complete, it comes with the original Lucas gas tank reflectors, turn signals, center stand, kick stand, and chain guard. The Smiths and Lucas components are original for this make and model. This bike even has the original Dunlop K70 front and rear stock tires that are MADE IN ENGLAND not Japanese replacements!! Both of the rims have significant rust on them, please see pictures for details. This bike has low mileage on it, it has ONLY 2,278 original miles as the pictures show. In addition to being complete, this bike is in very good condition. The engine has no damage such as cracks in the engine cases or chips in the cylinders or head. The Triumph logos are present on the serial pad!! The engine does shift through all gears, the only problem I can find with this engine is that it will not turn over, the clutch plates are most likely locked in place due to sitting in storage since 1980. The frame is also complete and in good condition, it is straight and not damaged, cut, or molested in anyway. The only missing component I can find is the coils, the tachometer also needs to be replaced. The numbers on the engine match the numbers on the frame and read T100R NE 01XXX .
