This is a very rare barn find in nice condition. The interior and head liner is in great shape. There is some rust on one side as shown in pictures.It was found in a garage were it has sat since 1978.The inspection from 1978 states 93,415 miles and the odometer is 95,000, so it was driven for a little over 1500 miles then parked. The owner was a lover of all things beetle and had quite a few. This one was his first. The engine runs, starts and sounds beautiful( check out the you tube link). However, it was repainted, and the drivers side fender has been replaced also, at some point.All that was done to this was a nice scrubbing. It is 100% parts original . This barn fresh 57 bug is the second and last of two. The first sold for over $7,100. It will not last long and will be hard to find another that is such a blank canvas!
