Seldom seen 350SL V-8. Never officially imported by MB when new. I believe this one was imported in 1978. Has EPA import certification plate attached. Original condition. Never painted. Original soft top. No rips or tears to interior. Like new tires. Runs and drives as it should. No rust. Runs and drives as it should. Includes fitted car cover and cradle for storing/moving the hardtop.I have too many cars and lack storage space.Call (717)634-2552 with any questions.On May-27-14 at 05:01:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I thought that I would list a few personal "editorial" type comments about this car which most of those interested are likely aware. First, neither the SL nor any other 350cc V-8 cars are listed in the NADA listings due to not being exported to the US by the manufacturer. I've only driven a few SL models but this one seems very "responsive". The 213 cu.in. has a 6500rpm indicated red line which, to me makes it seem more "peppy". I also enjoy the fact that the steering is quite precise, unlike most American cars which, to me, understeer. It certainly is not a race car nor a competition car but its manners make open air driving fun.I did not take a picture of the trunk in detail. There is no rust present and a spare, jack, etc. are present. I also have the operation manual for the tops and an English owner's manual. It currently carries a PA Antique tag.
