You are bidding on a super-cool, nostalgic 1949 Ford Custom 2-door hotrod graffiti cruiser. This is a very special custom build, in excellent survivor/driver condition. Details as follows: -1949 2-door Custom body, almost completely rust-free, shaved of trim, emblems, etc. Very straight body with a shiny driver-quality monochromatic paint job... a "10-footer" -Custom 1954 DeSoto toothy grille, resized to fit opening and look original (very rare and expensive grill; pro job looks factory) -Custom low mirrors, blue-dot tail lamps, and pinstriping -Mustang II independent front suspension, power front disc brakes, and power rack-and-pinion steering -Air bag front bag suspension with cabin control -Freshly built Chevrolet 383 Stroker engine, good-sized cam, balanced, big valve heads, roller rockers, well-built engine with under 1K miles on it putting out around 400HP... sounds mean, runs beautifully, and very powerful -Rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic trans w/balanced driveline and B&M Starshifter-New dual exhaust -9" Ford rear end w/3.00 gears -Weld custom aluminum billet wheels w/great Cooper Cobra radials -New power disc brakes, power steering. -Rewired with everything working including decent stereo -Custom interior all matching including power split-back front bench seat, headliner, door panels, etc. While not a "Perfect" car, this is a fantastic turn-key hotrod cruiser for your summertime driving pleasure. Engine and trans have under 1,000 miles on full rebuilds. Engine is 4-bolts mains 383 stroker (350 w/400 crank), balanced, forged pistons, good-sized lopy street cam (260/.484), high ratio roller rockers, big valve heads freshly done, aluminum high rise, Holly double-pumper, and more. Starts at the first turn of the key and runs perfectly... very powerful. Trans is also new/fresh with Stage II shift kit for crisp shifts. Radiator has been recored to handle the engine. Power steering, power disc brakes, more. Paint looks good and body has no rust-through to be found; the most minor of bubbling below the finish in a low spot or two... literally almost completely rust-free. Expensive billet Weld Wheels with nearly new Cooper Cobra radials.
