Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Addendum to 330GT Description: May 31, 2014 (US) Buyer Recommendation Cont’d.: As noted above, our Group believes the most successful buyer (in terms of investment and investment posture for SN 6537) will be the significant collection, with appropriate means, access to expertise and vision to address SN 6537 and ensure that the asset is viewed and treated as an advanced level project involving a significant automotive asset. For vehicle owners without significant vehicle assets, the possession of SN 6537 may prove somewhat disconcerting as the asset draws considerable international attention and great scrutiny will be applied towards its final outcome. In the owners’ personal experiences, this is a level not previously encountered with other, even significant, vehicles. Shipping Cont’d: For international bidders, upon confirmed payment in full for SN 6537 we will immediately provide contact details for our recommended transport partners. The successful bidder(s) can then work directly with these parties to arrange fully enclosed, bonded and secure transportation to their site of choice. European/MENA/African owners will likely receive recommendations to transfer (if by Port) out of NJ (USA). Those in East Asia/ANZ may prefer transportations that use Western US Ports. If by air, bidders may prefer transportation using Washington (IAD) or BWI. Final Photo Addendums: One picture is of poor quality (a facsimile of original sent during a then-routine part prep. manifesting) during work at Ferrari of Washington in 2008. The mid-effort photo provides a good gist of the scale of our efforts and includes parts not visible with those recognizable in the bay photography. Obviously some of those visible are special and not normally available commercially. (The vehicle partially visible in the photo is obviously special; It is not one of our vehicles and do not discuss assets that belong to other parties.) The final addendum photo includes a icon edge of the original folio that is interesting for many car historians. The folio cover is indeed present but in poor condition. Second Chance Offer Preparations: We are fully committed in good faith to the success of this process and are grateful to the eBay Team for their ongoing support. Once payment in full is confirmed, we will provide logistical and final details to ensure a smooth transportation event for the successful party‘s member(s). Sellers consider a bidder to be non-performing immediately, should banking confirmations of full and final payment not be available to the owners of SN 6537 by the close of business (1700 HRS (5PM)) Eastern Standard Time (USD) on Monday, June 9th. Of course, earlier arrangements speed all aspects of transportation. As agreed to by the Sellers in the official listing, in such an unlikely scenario, Sellers confirm their agreement to then issue an official Second Chance Offer to the second highest bidder. Thereafter, Sellers hereby notify all parties of their intent to consider multiple, significant offers outside of the eBay auction process. Sellers thank all parties for their interest in automotive history and wish all tremendous success in their vehicle pursuits. On Jun-01-14 at 20:34:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Addendum: 1 June 2014 We have received queries on the providers of some of the major parts/efforts during our ownership tenure. Obviously significant time and expense have gone into SN 6537's condition: 1) Ferrari of Washington (DC). FoW did tremendous amounts of effort on our behalf...26k+ plus on just the triage/prep. 2) Timevalve: Dual sets of muffler and pipe systems. Special painted, entirely whole custom Ferrari grade 'Never Rust' 304 Stainless Steel.3) Re-Originals (Texas): Vast amounts of replaced, Italy sourced obscure replacement rubber.4) Fred Petroske (NY): Endless source of obscure parts during our early work.5) Eric Sejd (VA): Popular private full interior specialist in Ferrari (VA).6) John Turner (MD): Popular paint specialist in private high line rally/racing vehicles. (Full Sand down, blocking of aft/fore and double PPG coats with clear coat.)7) Unnamed private aircraft firm: Provided hand molded and cast one-off headlight enclosures in California.8) Fed-Ex Custom Critical (then-so named before becoming Passport) for secure transport and support.9) Lastly and perhaps most importantly, we thank a certain unnamed private collector and well known authority who has cared for and protected SN 6537 in a secure, temperature controlled facility amidst other one-offs for literally years. The car has not been in a private home during our ownership since 2007. We are extremely grateful. Endless other collectors to help us with bids, parts, trim mounts (OEM), etc... We are so grateful to all of the above teams for their help, support, guidance and expertise. To the many we have omitted above we apologize. This has been an extraordinary project together and are so appreciative. Best Wishes,J
