Vehicle Detail

This is a 1965 MG B that is mostly complete. Items missing were taken from the vehicle while parked behind owners shop. These include seats, radiator, some interior panels and spare. It is pretty straight, sits level and right, and only has rust thru in part of floor and lower right front fender bottom. It has been sitting for a while, and I haven't been able to turn the engine over yet. The cylinders are still soaking in penetrating oil, and I'm hoping that will free it. It shows no evidence of having been opened up. All four wire wheels appear OK, as does most of the rest of it which wasn't stolen. Rolls and steers easily. I don't care to part it out, but prefer to sell it complete for parts. There is a spare third member in the back (see picture). Tires are all rotted, but do hold air. The vehicle is in non operable status in Ca. since June of 2003, so there are no back fees or penalties due. It is smog exempt in Ca. because of its age. Please inquire with other questions, and I'll answer as best I can. Oh yes, I forgot, it does have an aluminum hood. On May-20-14 at 09:50:08 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: The engine now spins freely. I liberally soaked the cylinders with penetrating oil and after a couple of days was able to turn the engine over. It spins freely now. As I mentioned earlier, the engine appears to never have been opened up, so there is great hope that it is in good interior condition. Just though I'd mention that. On May-20-14 at 12:40:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Oops, I forgot. While freeing up the engine I discovered the starter is only good for a boat anchor. Just thought I'd mention it in the spirit of full disclosure. Sorry.\
