This sale is for local pickup in the Salem, Oregon area, although I could also bring it to the Portland, Oregon area also. Van runs, but is being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. I was using the van regularly until the switch for the headlights stopped working three weeks ago. I can no longer turn the headlights on at all, and cannot turn the parking lights off without having to disconnect the battery or remove the fuse. Prior to this, the other age related problems the van has are that it burns oil (I need to add a quart about every 2-3 gasoline fill ups), and it drips transmission fluid from the fluid pan (just a slow drip). It also no longer automatically downshifts when you floor the gas pedal, but you can make it downshift by pressing the overdrive button on the shifter). So, it is a tired old vehicle, essentially. The van had been in my family since my brother bought it in the San Francisco Bay Area around 2001. He got it to transport the antique furniture he was buying for his home at that time, and did not care that it had a Salvage Title (the van must have been damaged on the front passenger side, as that door has been replaced. I have never experienced anything driving it that would indicate to me that it has any kind of problem as a result of this however). My brother gave it to my me in 2007 when he moved out of the country to take a job in Canada. The front windshield has many cracks, but the rest of the vehicle glass is good (although an aftermarket tinting film was applied to the back windows. The back seats are all in good shape. The front passenger seat has a tear. Driver's seat is ok. A/C quit working a year ago. Alloy rims are all decent, if dirty. Body panels are mostly in nice shape, with a few dents here and there. I have never seen any rust damage. Power windows and door locks work fine. OEM stereo cassette has not worked for many years. This is a 2 wheel drive gasoline powered version, and not the 4x4 diesel that I do not believe was widely sold in the USA. Must be picked up within 10 days of end of auction.
