I have a '68 Mustang Coupe project in completely rust free condition. The car was last titled and plated in San Jose in '88. VERY straight and rust free. Currently is primed shell with the under body, interior, and engine compartment painted to look original. Essentially it is ready to start assembly and fitting of body panels before painting of exterior. Has original rust free doors in primer, both original fenders (left needs some dings straightened and right is repairable and rust free), one new NOS right fender, no hood, two usable but not perfect trunk lids, and both front and rear lower valances. It has a Total Control Products (TCP) power rack and pinion kit installed, TCP coil over tubular front suspension with double adjustable Varishocks from Alston Chassisworks, 71-73 spindles, Moog tie rods, and Edelbrock adjusting sleeves. The original 9" housing has been powder-coated and has a Stange Engineering center section, Daytona pinion support, Billet steel yoke, Detroit True Trac locking diff, Moser 31 spline axles, 3.50 Richmond gears, 12.19" Wilwood 4 piston rear discs with internal park brakes, and TCP subframe connectors professionally welded in with the matching X-brace. The rear also has TCP double adjustable rear shocks by Varishock that match the fronts, TCP spring mounts with tie downs, and Grab-A-Trak mid eye drop rear springs and heavy duty shackles. I have all the original hood, trunk, and door hinges, headliner bows, trunk lid springs, heater assembly, all the tinted original glass, and most everything else for the interior. The car is a rare 1 of 1 according to the Marti Report. It is an S-code 390 GT with tons of options. Was originally a non-a/c, automatic with vinyl top, AND was special ordered as part of a California only promotion called the Rainbow of Colors. It has a blank paint code on the door tag meaning it was a special order color. Originally painted Madagaskar Orange (trunk lid and fenders are still original paint) and the only one in that color to have more than a standard 302 or 6 cylinder. It is a very well optioned car with deluxe black interior, decor group exterior, and black vinyl top. Would look awesome with the original orange and black C-stripes that it came with!Even if you didn't care about the originality it is one of the cleanest, original shells to build your way you will find! Really need to come see it to appreciate it. Lots of new interior parts in boxes, VERY nice original 4-spd console, matching overhead console, nice black Corbeau CR1 front seats, Momo Fighter leather steering wheel, Flaming River tilt column and all correct adapters to mate to the TCP rack, all Autometer Phantom gauges including a monster shift light tach, 200MPH speedo, fuel level, water temp, oil pressure, and clock (was going to mount behind a stock cluster bezel), a Painless Wiring muscle car harness kit, new fuel tank and fuel sender, fiberglass Shelby style trunk lid and end caps, new Nordan chrome bumpers, one new NOS headlamp bucket (hard to find), all new weatherstripping, door handles in and out, new deluxe mirrors, stainless steel pre-bent fuel and brake line kit, and lots more! I do also have an almost complete 390 FE stroker with Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads and intake, a Holley 750 double pumper, MSD Digital 6 Plus ignition, Pro Billet distributor, and MSD plug wires, Precision Oil Pumps (POP) roller shaft rocker set-up complete, POP blueprinted oil pump, heavy duty pump driveshaft, torrington cam thrust kit, and oil restrictor kit, Canton road race baffled oil pan w/pick-up, Ford Motorsports windage tray and awesome finned aluminum tall valve covers, Edelbrock waterpump, Powermaster XS mini starter, March aluminum pulleys, Scat cast iron 3.98" stroke (428) crank with BB Chevy rod journals and matched bearings, ARP head stud kit, Ross forged .030 pistons, Childs & Alberts file fit moly rings, Eagle H-beam rods with BB Chevy big ends to match the crank kit, Romac aluminum balancer, NOS Weber aluminum flywheel, Rollmaster timing chain set, Crane hydraulic roller cam (nice size, but not too lumpy) and lifters, and a standard bore D3TE truck block to put it all into! Biggest items missing are gaskets and push rods which need to be custom length for the roller cam. Also have a nice .030 over car block with a .010 under crank and stock 390 GT cam on the engine stand that goes with all the other engine stuff!I am willing to sell the complete package with lots of extra classic Mustang stuff (everything in the garage) for $12500.00.I will separate and sell everything except the FE engine related stuff for $9000.00If you are interested in the entire engine and related items as a package (would be awesome in a Cobra kit car!!!) I will let it all go for $4000.00I really need this thing out of the garage, so don't be afraid to come look at it and make an offer! Sorry don't have pics of the engine items.
