This car is being listed again due to a non-paying bidder. I have attached the message I received from bidder ellijaysurplus the morning after the listing ended. I did get a lot of good questions from people whom are legitimately interested in the car. Ill try to include the info this time around. I also received a lot of useful information from some experts in the field. Thank you for the input, and ill try to include that as well. I bought this car as it sits. I haven't done any body work, or done anything to doll the car up. The old fellow I bought the car from said that he was the second owner of the car, and it is as it originally was when he bought it back in 70. It has a 409 engine that is listed as 425hp. It does have what appears to be a QB code on the passenger side of the engine block deck. The car does have the date matching dual 4 barrel carbs. the engine does turn over, but needs a tune up and some misc. The carbs need rebuilt and the belts and hoses need replaced. It looks like everything that is supposed to be under the hood is intact. the car does have the 4 speed transmission. I have been asked about the numbers on it but have not jacked the car up to search for them The brakes and cylinders have been replaced along with some bushings. the car does have some rust on the floor pans. I have bought the replacement pans for the car, and they are included in the auction there is some rust in the trunk center there is some rust in the exterior of the car that looks like it could be repaired with some patches the frame is solid and has minor surface rust the interior of the car is all accounted for but will need the typical replacement kit. Carpet, seat coverings, headliner etc.. the car has the ss tach on the dash, i do have all the exterior chrome trim for the car there is a huge pile of new and used parts that will accompany the car when it sells. I will be happy to load the car for the shipping company. odometer reads 05041 clear Texas title also available is a 1964 parts car which has all sheet metal parts needed to replace rusted areas on SSparts car was purchased with BOS only/no title that car will sell for 1800 additional The car is located in Hubbard Texas (just outside of Waco) 500 deposited at the close of the auction. please pay Remaining balance by wire transfer or cash within 72 hours of auction close. this is requirement, not a suggestion. It was my dream car, but due to the move I've had to sell my entire collection.
