Up for auction is this 100% original, pristine example of a 1979 Honda CB750K 10th Anniversary Limited Edition. One of the finest you will find. There is not a blemish, scratch, fade, or dent in any of the paint or body work. All of the chrome including the pipes and fenders are in beautiful condition with absolutely no rust. No surprises here! This bike is immaculate and even still maintains the clear coat finish on the engine cases and front forks. No tears or rips in the seat. The original Comstar wheels are in perfect shape as well with no scratches or marks anywhere. There are 18,515 miles on the odometer. It has a clear Texas title. This bike was acquired on EBay last year to add to a collection, but rarely gets ridden so the decision was made to part with it to make room and let someone else enjoy her. We will be listing quite a few more rare, pristine bikes of all types in the coming months to dwindle down the collection and make space so stay tuned. When the bike arrived, a complete inspection was done to get it in great riding order. The front fork seals were replaced and 15W fork oil was added. The front brakes were replaced with EBC pads and the system was bled. The tires still have plenty of tread but should probably be replaced as the date code indicates they were manufactured in 2008. The carbs were removed, stripped down, ultrasonic cleaned, rebuilt, and synced. A new air filter was installed as well. The oil and filter were also changed and new spark plugs installed. The battery was replaced and a piggyback maintainer added. The bike also went through a full detail to clean up any minor surface rust, dust or grease. The tank is beautiful inside and needs nothing. Since acquiring this CB750 over a year ago, it has probably only been driven a couple hundred miles. It has been on a battery maintainer constantly with fuel stabilizer in the tank and periodically started every couple of weeks and driven to make sure everything is in working order. It starts and runs easily with only a little choke when cold. The only downside of this whole bike is the notorious Honda clutch rattle at idle. There are many forums on how to fix this if so desired. However, it does not effect the the way this machine runs or the performance one bit. I would not be afraid to drive this bike across the country. Everything works perfectly including Hi/Low beam, turn signals, horn, front and rear brake lights, starter, tach, speedo, etc. This is a 35 year old motorcycle and is being sold as is with no warranty. A $500.00 PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours of purchase and remaining balance to be paid before local pickup or shipper pickup of the motorcycle. This is the first item being listed as a seller on this account, however, I have sold many motorcycles over the past 10 years on a previous account with 100% feedback with my father.
