For your consideration is a 1976 Honda CB400F Super Sport with 18299 original miles. This Bike was completely detailed by the previous owner. It really shines!!! On a 1 to 10 scale I would rate this bike at a low 8. It has never been restored. Will fire up with the kick start or the electric start and runs like a clock and shifts through all six gears flawlessly. Chrome has some small scratches and, some light pitting in a few places, but other than that the chrome is great. The only thing I have done to the bike since I owned it was put gas in the tank & put about 50 miles on it. It’s an absolute blast to drive and I get complements all the time when I take it out for a drive. I took it out of a ride this year and noticed the head gasket is starting to leak a little. The only reason I’m selling it is, I have too many bikes and don’t have time to enjoy all of them like they should be. This bike comes with A Clean Wisconsin Title. NOT SO GOOD AREAS - PAINT ON THE SIDE COVERS HAS A FEW SMALL SCRATCHES AND ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE COVER AS A LITTLE CRACK ON THE TOP BY THE TAB. ALSO THE TOP OF THE TANK HAS A FEW LIGHT CHIPS -CHROME ON HEADER HAS SOME PITS -HAS A SLIGHT HEAD GASKET LEAK. -WRONG HANDLE BARS AND THEY ARE SLIGHTLY BENT, YOU HAVE TO BE RIDING IT TO NOTICE. - THE REAR BLINKER ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE HAS SOME SCRATCHES, MUST HAVE TIPPED OVER ON THE KICK STAND. QUALITY - EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT. - EVERYTHING WORKS. ALL LIGHTS, HORN, INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAUGES.ETC... - CHROME AND ALLOY ARE POLISHED AND LOOK GREAT - ALL LIGHT BEZELS, TRIM AND ARMS ARE PERFECT - RECOVERED SEAT - ORIGINAL 18299 MILES - TIRES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. - RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. - ENGINE DOES NOT SMOKE. - ORIGINAL EXHAUST HEADERS. ON THE TOP OF THE HEADERS THE CHROME MUST HAVE BEEN PITTED AND WAS PAINTED SILVER WHERE THE PITS WERE. CHROME MAC MUFFLER. - INSIDE OF TANK IS LIKE NEW. IVE TRIED TO TAKE PICS THAT SHOW OFF THE QUALITY OF THE BIKE. AS WELL AS THE AREAS OF CONCERNS. I'M LIKE YOU, IN THAT I DO NOT LIKE SURPRISES WHEN BUYING ITEMS OFF EBAY.
