Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback that is in progress as a Shelby restormod. The vehicle is in good condition and looks great though there are some issues with it that you would expect with a vehicle of this age. It's been garaged for most of the last few years as I have been out of the country. I'm not a real "car guy" but will do my best to answer any questions you have about it. The engine was rebuilt about 5 years ago and only has about 6K miles on it since then! It originally was the 200 V6 model but has been upgraded and features a manual 4-speed Hurst performance transmission. Its runs pretty good and could be great with the right mechanic/muscle car buffs work! The exterior is red with white racing stripes, the rims included are not factory standard and features Yokohama racing tires. There is a small dent above the right front tire on the quarter panel, I've included a picture, that could be repaired for around $200 if the buyer wishes. Additionally it only features a side view mirror on the driver side. The interior is in pretty good condition and features a custom audio set-up the previous owner installed that sounds great (pics included). As I am not much of a expert on muscle cars I'd be happy to help answer any questions you have and provide you with any additional information you might require. This is a great chance to own a classic piece of American muscle car history and with some loving work I really think this could be a amazing show car to cruise around in and show off. Don't miss out on your chance to own one of the few remaining '68 Fastbacks still on the street!
